The Mayor of Elmbridge’s Charity Firewalk
T
his was a fundraising event and together we raised funds for Home-Start Elmbridge and The Mayor of Elmbridge Trust. Both are extremely worthwhile charities within Elmbridge offering much needed support to families in times of need.
A Firewalk is where participants walk bare foot over twenty feet of red-hot coals, each ember burning at temperatures of up to 800 degrees Fahrenheit!! ?
The Firewalk, hosted by Firewalk UK, took place at Painshill Park on Thursday 20th March 2025.
The event started at 5.30pm with ‘pre-walk’ training for participants starting at 6pm and the main event beginning at 7pm.
We invited family and friends to support the Fire Walkers, with a large marquee hosting a raffle, a tasty BBQ, hot and cold drinks along with ‘red-hot’ tunes playing by Baz from Brooklands Radio! It really was a great night!
