Baby B was born prematurely and developed cerebral palsy at birth.
Home-Start were able to provide a volunteer to visit for 2 hours each week, to act as an extra pair of hands both at home and for outings.
The Carer Support Co-ordinator was able to help the family to apply for Disability Living Allowance. Home-Start helped to apply to charities for special equipment for the baby. Home-Start also helped to ensure that statutory services provided practical and financial help for the family.
