Eight brand new, fully trained volunteers had a lovely surprise when Home-Start Elmbridge‘s patron Ruth Langsford popped in to welcome them to Home-Start and to present their course certificates! Ruth spent time chatting to the new volunteers, asking them questions about their training and what they were looking forward to, before sharing a lunch together. It was a fantastic way to end the training, and now the volunteers are looking forward to supporting their first family!
